The Reading bookstore has a very interesting character, named Gene.
Gene is easily a senior citizen. He is very, very slim, with unkempt white hair. Probably a bum or he really does not care about his appearance. Did I mention he is also crazy? Well - Gene tells himself to do everything...
He comes in and says "Ok Gene, get the key Gene, that's it Gene get the key" (You need a key to get into the bathroom).
When he is done he says...
"Ok Gene, put the key back Gene, Thats it Gene."
When he heads to the back booths...
"C'mon Gene you can do it. Go into the booth Gene. Number Three gene, thats right. C'mon Gene. Put the dollar bill in the machine Gene."
It is the funniest thing Ive ever heard before.
